The 2011 whale watching season has started. The first humpback whales have been spotted in the bay a few weeks ago and they are now becoming more regular. We are looking forward to see the gentle giants pass our Byron Bay headland again for the next 5 months. Make sure you spend some time at the lighthouse looking out into the blue or join one of the popular whale watching trips to get up close and personal.
