Over 70 humpback whales swim past Cape Byron today
It’s a fantastic time to go and see whales in Byron Bay right now. On Saturday 21 June more than 70 humpback whales were spotted swimming, playing and breaching off Cape Byron headland.
The Byron Bay lighthouse is one of Australia’s best land based whale watching spots and with the weather the way it is at the moment you are virtually guaranteed to spot some while you are up there.
