Diving Conditions | 11-17 December 2005

A group of 6 – 7 Grey Nurse Shark hang around Hugo’s Trench. Pufferfish, turtles, Sweetlips, Barrier Reef Anemonefish, wobbegongs, leatherjackets, bulleyes, Blue Gropers, goatfish and large rays


Weather
A lot of sun and it became more humid as the week progressed. Friday was cloudy with a bit of rain and Saturday there was a huge storm with strong winds. Mainly southerly winds.
Sea
Pretty calm all week until Friday when it was a bitchoppy in the morning and rough later on.
Water temperature
19°C on Sunday, but increased rapidly back to 23°C.
Visibility
From 4 meters on Monday to 15 meters later in the week.
