Diving Conditions | 27 February-5 March 2005

The cooler water must have scared off the Leopard Sharks, because there weren’t many of them this week.

A few squid hovering mid-water, Spanish Dancers (Hexabranchus) and their egg ribbons, loads of Blue-spotted Stingrays and some Numbrays, besides the usual stuff like Blue Gropers, turtles, parrotfish, anemonefish, lionfish and moray eels.

Mainly sunny, some clouds in the distance, but no rain.
Sea
Bit of wave action, but no good surf.
Water temperature
20 – 23°C, thermoclines
Visibility
8 – 10 meters. On Sunday 15 meters.
